3 Cute Cafes for a Breakfast Bite

When you’re planning your vacation in Fort Myers Beach, you’re in for a treat! No matter what your interest, you’ll find it right around the corner. There are plenty of interesting historical sites and breathtaking nature preserves for you to take part in, as well as gorgeous white-sand beaches and fun family-friendly activities.

To get your day off on the right foot, you’ll need a good breakfast! Luckily, there are plenty of Fort Myers Beach breakfast spots for you to enjoy, all just minutes from our Fort Myers Beach rentals! Here are three of our favorite cafes to grab a quick bite in the morning before a day of enjoying the Fort Myers Beaches.

Sunflower Cafe

The Sunflower Cafe has been operating for more than 20 years and keeps people coming back with its wide selection of items, high quality service, and relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Stop in for breakfast to sample the extra thick French toast, malted pancakes, crepes, and more.

For a hearty breakfast, they have several Super Skillets and egg options. If you’re looking for something a bit lighter, they also have a wide range of breads and cereals to enjoy. Finish it off with a fresh squeezed juice or hot cup of coffee. If you visit later in the day, they also serve a mouth-watering lunch and dinner menu featuring all the American classics.

The Sunflower Cafe is located at 11370 Summerlin Square Dr. They are open daily from 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Truly Scrumptious Ice Cream Cafe

When you’re visiting Fort Myers Beach cafes, you simply can’t miss out on Truly Scrumptious. Step through the door and experience what Fort Myers Beach locals have been loving since 2008. Owners Mike and Tammy Garro pride themselves on offering traditional American comfort food made with the freshest ingredients. Popular breakfast options include the cinnamon roll, varieties of breakfast sandwiches, biscuits and gravy, and the Fresh and Fit Frittata.

Don’t forget to stop in later in the day to sample the famous ice cream! They offer over 30 flavors, from classics like vanilla and cookies and cream to unique varieties like caramel caribou and coconut almond fudge. If you’re not in the mood for ice cream, try some cake!

With everything from carrot cake to chocolate cake to New York crumb, you’re sure to find something to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Truly Scrumptious Ice Cream Cafe is located at 7205 Estero Boulevard. They are open daily at 7 a.m. and serve the entire menu until 3 p.m. then continue with their dessert menu until 10 p.m.

MoJoe’s Coffee Cafe

Another one of the most popular Fort Myers Beach breakfast spots is MoJoe’s Coffee Cafe, where you can stop in for a specialty coffee drink and a gourmet selection from their kitchen. Start your day off with a decadent Eggs Benedict or Gulf Coast Pancakes, or choose a healthy option like MoJoe’s organic acai bowl or granola bowl.

Whether you come in with a big appetite or just want something to tie you over until lunch, MoJoe’s has you covered. They have all your favorite coffee drinks, or you can ask your barista for their recommendation to get a unique surprise!
