Iona Art Gallery

The Iona Art Gallery showcases Kimberly B. Hambor, who has been showing her work in Southwest Florida for almost 30 years. In 2016, she opened a gallery of her own, where her stunning Florida photographs are for sale. Additionally, the gallery features gemstones and minerals from around the world, selected for their beauty and healing properties.

Arts for ACT Gallery

Located in historic downtown Fort Myers, this art gallery is owned and operated by Abuse Counseling and Treatment, Inc., a non-profit agency that provides shelter and support services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.

Here, you will find premium quality works of art displayed over 2,100 square feet, with galleries that boast 12-foot-high ceilings, distressed brick walls, and warm wooden floors. The gallery changes monthly and two artists are featured each month. Original art includes limited edition prints, giclee, fine hand-crafted crafts, recycled clothing, silver and glass bead jewelry, gourd art, raku, clay, and art cards. On the first Friday, free receptions are open to the public, providing an opportunity to meet the gallery’s featured artists. Past featured artists have included Al Oerter, David Belling, Cheryl Fausel, and many more. Arts for ACT Gallery is a must-see for all avid art lovers!

Visit arts for ACT Gallery at 2265 First Street, Fort Myers, River District in the Arcade Building. Opening hours are from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Sunday. 

Alliance for the Arts

Alliance for the Arts Fort Myers is a welcoming visual arts center that has been transforming the lives of Fort Myers’s citizens since the 1970s. The center offers a year-round schedule of events that are widely anticipated by the community. Unique art exhibits are provided year-round, exploring different mediums and themes, revealing new ideas and unexpected connections across ages and cultures. World-famous artists and students alike are featured here, so even if you have visited before, there is certainly something new to explore!

Fort Myers Beach Art Association

This 65-year-old association was founded in 1951 and is still going strong today. It is an all-volunteer member-operated, not-for-profit art association run by easy-going, fun-loving folks. Anyone is welcome, and something is always going on. Whether it’s a scholarship program for local youth or a workshop held by famous artists, you are welcome to join in on the fun! There are painting groups and shows, often with friendly judging and competition. The Fort Myers Beach Art Association is the perfect place to find fellow art lovers and develop your own appreciation for the arts!
