Places to Golf in Sanibel

The Dunes Golf and Tennis Club

Experience a stunning view during your game, all while being surrounded by the beauty of the Audubon Society’s wildlife preserve. New and experienced will find a fun challenge on this 18-hole championship course. The course was designed by PGA Tour winner Mark McCumber and is in the midst of a breathtaking natural landscape. While you perfect your swing, take in the native wildlife around you, including the resident alligators!

The Dunes Golf and Tennis Club is located at 949 Sandcastle Road in Sanibel. The course is open daily from 7:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Sanibel Island Golf Club

Sanibel Island Golf Club gives you access to more than 150 acres of semi-manicured natural island terrain. While you play the approximately 6,300 yards from the back tees, you will take a trip past incredible views of the Sanibel River and other wildlife and natural habitats of the island. The course is fair yet challenging to any and all golfers, so your whole group can join in. Be sure to stop by the Malia Restaurant to indulge in their island fusion cuisine after your game!

Sanibel Island Golf Club is located at 1100 Par View Drive in Sanibel. Public tee times are available from 7:30 a.m. until 7 p.m.

The Sanctuary Golf Club

Designed by nationally acclaimed golf course architect Arthur Hills, The Sanctuary Golf Course is an “elegance, exquisite, and rare” masterpiece. It borders the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge and gives golfers a panoramic view of the mangrove forests and Pine Island Sound. Like many of the other golfing locations in and around Sanibel, you’ll find plenty of birds and wildlife to watch as you tee off. Your game will take you through 6,600 yards of nature preserves in lakes and presents a fun and challenging game for golfers of all ages.

The Sanctuary also offers a variety of tournaments and sports camps for the whole family to take part in!

Shell Point Golf Club

About 15 miles away from Sanibel, one of the most exciting things to do in Fort Myers Beach is Shell Point Golf Club, home to an Audubon-certified, par 71 championship golf course. It was designed by Gordon Lewis, who has had a hand in building some of the finest golf courses in the Sunshine State. Take advantage of this incredible 18-hole championship course, as well as the 300-yard driving range, short game area, and divot-free tee boxes in Fairways.

Shell Point Golf Club is located at 17500 On Par Boulevard.
