2025 Gate River Run
New for 2025! - Club and Team Competition
The Gate River Run is the largest 15-kilometer race that takes place annually in Jacksonville, Florida. The Gate River Run was previously known as the Jacksonville River Run and was created in 1978 by JTC Running. The River Run has been a US National Championship since 1994.
The race attracts both recreational and competitive runners from across NE FL and beyond. The 2025 Gate River Run will take place on March 1st and will feature a four-wave 15K start, open and corporate team competition, and a three-day runners' expo at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds.
The Gate River Run will start on Duval Street in front of the Jacksonville Fairgrounds and will finish on Duval Street next to TIAA Bank Field. All expo’s will be located in the area of the Fairgrounds located at 510 Fairgrounds Place.
The Gate River Run will include a 15K, 5K, and mile events. The Gate River Run is pleased to announce that they're introducing a Corporate and Open Team Competition NEW for 2024! The Team Division was created to add another fun aspect to the race. Invite friends, family and fellow employees to run or walk the 15K or 5K. Total entries in the 15K and 5K will be added together to determine total participation awards. Awards for the top finishing teams will only be calculated in the 15K!
