2019 Halloween Spooktacular

If you’re looking for a safe place to bring your kids trick-or-treating during your vacation, visit the 2019 Halloween Spooktacular trick or treat event. Not only will you be able to stock up on all your favorite candy, but kids can also participate in the costume contest and take part in the dance party at Center Court. You’ll also be able to visit with the local merchants and maybe pick up a souvenir.

This event will be located at Bell Tower Shops, conveniently located near our Fort Myers Beach vacation rentals. The Halloween Spooktacular will happen October 26th, 2019 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Fort Myers Thanksgiving Weekend Craft Festival

After you’ve indulged in your turkey dinner and done your Black Friday shopping, come out to the Fort Myers Thanksgiving Weekend Craft Festival to pick up a last-minute souvenir. This annual event draws crowds from far and wide to meet with local vendors displaying some of the most beautiful creations, from jewelry to blankets and everything in between.

This year’s event will take place on November 30th and December 1st from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day. It will be located at the Gulf Coast Town Center on I-75.

33rd Annual American Sand Sculpting Championship

Even though this Florida event is not specifically fall-themed, it has been one of the most popular events in Fort Myers Beach in the autumn for over three decades. Every year, this Championship brings guests from far and wide to stand in awe of the incredible sand creations. You’ll get to see both amateur and professional sand sculptors at work, as well as Quick Sand Speed Sculpting, music, and a kids’ activity area. There will also be refreshments on-site, so you can spend the whole afternoon here!

The Championship will take place from November 22nd until December 1st, 2019, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day. Admission is $8 per day, and kids age 4 and under are free.

31st Annual Fort Myers Beach Christmas Boat Parade

What’s Christmas without a parade? One of the most popular holiday events in Fort Myers Beach is the annual Christmas Boat Parade, where you can come out and watch the boats display their lights on the water. The parade will start at Salty Sam’s Marina and float along past all the best restaurants in the area. You can also go online and vote for the best-decorated boat!

This year’s parade will take place on December 7th from 6 p.m. until 8 pm.

NYE Downtown Countdown

If you’re looking for things to do near Fort Myers for the new year, come out to the NYE Downtown Countdown. Mingle with the locals and countdown to 2020 while enjoying live music and delicious food. You can walk between the four stages and food trucks to experience all the fun, and head to Bay and Hendry at midnight for the ball drop!

This event will take place from December 31st at 8 p.m. until January 1st at 1 a.m. The Downtown Countdown is free to the public.
