Admiral's Bay 153
Where you'll be
From the balcony, you’ll have a fabulous view of lush greenery and a small water view of the back bay. Slip out here early in the morning to admire the sunrise as you savor a cup of coffee; watch egrets, falcons, and gulls swoop and glide across the seemingly endless sky; savor drinks in the moonlight before turning in for the night. It’s truly an idyllic spot.
Because the balcony’s sliding glass doors open onto the living area, you can also relish the sunshine and sea breeze as you stretch out on a living room couch or curl up in the leather recliner. Comfortable and commodious, the living room is a great space for watching a favorite movie on the HDTV with DVD player, surfing the web via the free WiFi or playing with the kids.
The adjacent dining room table is also well suited for a game of Monopoly or rummy. The amply padded chairs encourage hours of lingering, whether it’s over dessert and coffee or a jigsaw puzzle. The table seats 4 people, and there’s room for more at the breakfast bar.
Admiral’s Bay 153 is within walking distance of numerous restaurants, and the complex has an outdoor community grill area that’s perfect for barbecuing any snapper or trout you might reel in from the Fort Myers Beach Pier. If you want to cook indoors, you’ll find everything you need in the condo’s kitchen, from major and minor appliances to cookware and tableware. The kitchen pass-through lets you look out onto the living area and beyond as you cook, so that you can join in on the conversations and fun.
A good night’s sleep is key to any successful vacation, and the condo’s two bedrooms all but guarantee sweet dreams. The en-suite primary bedroom has a king-size bed, and the second bedroom has a queen, making Admiral’s Bay 153 as well suited for two couples as it is for a family. Each bedroom has a TV, a ceiling fan, and ample storage. There’s a full bathroom for each bedroom, which will make mornings much less hectic for everyone. And for added convenience, the unit includes its own washer and dryer as well.
Admiral’s Bay has two heated pools, so you can enjoy a swim even when the Gulf waters are a bit chilly. Afterward, you can dry off on a poolside chaise or keep cool in the shade of the pool house. What’s more, the complex is just a few blocks from the Gulf of Mexico and the sparkling white beach, long considered one of the country’s safest and best. Here you can swim, search for shells, race jet skis, parasail, and paddleboard to your heart’s content.
The condo is also just a short bike ride or drives to Lovers Key State Park, a must-visit for nature-lovers. Whether you’re hiking or biking among the mangroves or canoeing or kayaking along the estuaries, you’re likely to spy dolphins, manatees, egrets, eagles, marsh rabbits, and maybe even alligators.
For more urbane pursuits, head a few miles north to the island’s Times Square area. The place to see and be seen, it’s jumping with outdoor eateries, shops, nightclubs, and all sorts of live entertainment. If you don’t want to drive, you can hop on the shuttle that runs the length of the island; there’s a stop just a few blocks away from the condo. Feeling competitive? There are also tennis options for you and your guests to enjoy!

Great location within a friendly, quiet neighborhood. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. We lost cable signal on the living room TV a lot which was a bit of a nuisance.

The location was great. The other renters in the area were very friendly and welcoming. The unit was pretty good, the only thing is that it was a bit "dated\"". It could use some updating. But I would definitely go back
