If you wish to leave the car behind, a short walk takes you to a trolley stop along Estero Boulevard that runs north to the Times Square area with its myriad of boutiques and restaurants, and then runs south to the Lovers Key state park and its pristine beaches.

In addition, Flippers, an award-winning waterfront restaurant, is just across the Big Carlos Pass bridge at Lovers Key resort. Kayak and jet ski rentals are available, as well as dolphin tours and sunset cruises around Estero Bay to the Gulf of Mexico. The restaurant is appropriately named because while dining you will most likely see dolphins passing by on their trek to and from the Gulf.

This flows into the spacious living room that is filled with natural light from the wall of windows looking out towards the Gulf of Mexico.
