Post-hurricane Ian damage cleanup continues in the Ft Myers area and at Gullwing Condos. Please expect ongoing construction and construction noise within and around this complex, including the parking areas. The pool is back open, however, at this time, the tennis court, and beach chairs are not available for use. The complex has nightly security, including cameras at the front doors, to monitor access for safety. This unit has been carefully inspected and renovated prior to re-opening. We have made every effort to maintain a safe and comfortable setting for our guests.
As you enter the secure, air-conditioned lobby at ground level, a quick ride in the elevator will take you to the 12th floor where you'll be greeted by a spacious 1,700 sq. ft. penthouse unit with an open floor plan offering breathtaking views of the Gulf and Estero Bay from every room.
To your right, you'll find the large and fully equipped kitchen, featuring all the appliances, cookware, and dishware you need to prepare your meals with ease and enjoyment. The kitchen appliances include a dishwasher, glass-top range with self-cleaning oven, built-in above-range microwave oven, and a side-by-side refrigerator/freezer with a pull-out freezer drawer and ice-maker. Adjacent to the kitchen is the laundry area with a full-size washer and dryer for added convenience.
The dining area seats six around the glass-top table, while three additional seats line the breakfast bar, providing plenty of seating for everyone. The dining area flows into the living space, furnished with a queen-size sleeper sofa, coffee table, two matching side chairs with end tables and lamps, and a credenza with a large flat screen TV. The opposite end of the living area features a wet bar with sink and four cushioned bar stools, perfect for kicking off happy hour in style or enjoying hours of fun playing games with family and friends.
The thoughtful floor plan features a split bedroom layout creating separation and privacy for the primary bedroom suite. The primary bedroom with ensuite bath has a plush king-size bed, nightstands and lamps, a side reading chair, a double dresser with flat screen TV, and beautiful views of Estero Bay and the intercoastal waterway. The ensuite bathroom features a dressing area with granite vanity and lavatory, a large walk-in closet, a corner whirlpool tub, a large walk-in shower with body sprays, and a separate water closet.
Each of the two guest bedrooms has a queen-size bed, nightstands and lamps, a double dresser with flat screen TV, ample closet space, and its own door boasting partial views of the beach and gulf. The adjacent guest bathroom has a granite vanity with lavatory and storage space beneath, commode, and a large walk-in shower with a rain shower head.
Gullwing 1201 comes with a variety of amenities for your enjoyment and convenience, including hair dryers, free high-speed WiFi, and central air conditioning. You can watch unlimited premium movies and hundreds of TV channels on Direct TV in the condo. For your added convenience, we provide all the starter toiletries, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, toilet paper, and paper towels to get you started.
Our building is situated DIRECTLY on the Gulf of Mexico with seven miles of soft white sand, beautiful sunsets, great shelling, and, if you're lucky, dolphin watching. The Gullwing Beach Resort has free private parking for your added convenience. On the property, for an extended period, there will be ongoing construction on common area elements and in the individual units, which involves lots of noise and unkempt conditions. Several amenities are not available, including the tennis court, beach chairs/toys, and grill area, and limited parking due to an abundance of workers with their vehicles/trailers on the property plus the need to take up additional spaces for the rental fire pump and sometimes large cranes. Projects like roofs, sliders, and window replacements will add to the noise and congestion. Residential trash service is now available. Contractors must remove construction debris from the property. Nightly security is currently in place, and cameras at the front doors will record all accesses.
Please note that you will be responsible for any damage to the rental property caused by you or your party during your stay. No pets are allowed in this vacation rental. No smoking or vaping is allowed. You must be 25 years or older to rent this property.

The property is great and very well maintained. Fort Myers Beach has a way to go with their recovery from the hurricane in 2022. There is a large amount of construction taking place on the island. This creates a tremendous amount of noise and inconvenience for travelers. We tried to take that all into account during our stay. This building is ready for guests but the island is not ready.

The property was listed accurately and was clean and beautiful. The city of Fort Myers Beach has not recovered from the hurricane in 2022. Nearly 2 years later, the island shows much devastation. There are a very minimal amount of stores and restaurants open near this property. There is a tremendous amount of construction taking place on neighboring buildings that leads to a lot of noise It’s not a very picturesque setting with construction materials and fencing everywhere. This property is ready for tourists, the community is not. It’s a very sad situation and we did our best to patronize businesses in the community

Construction is overwhelming and starts at 6:30 am and isn’t listed on the listing. Management company is awful. It’s stunk and was dirty, they never sent anyone. Bedrooms stay at 78 when living room is 73, contract says they will fine you if you move AC more than 5 degrees. The hard hat area is everywhere and there are signs warning not to stop on electrical wires. We asked the unit be cleaned and help with the AC problem. They sent someone the day we checked out. That was a week after we reported it. You must check out by 10 am. Horrible condo! We had to wash sheets when we arrived.

3 bedroom condo was nice. Pool was in good condition. Walk right out to the beach. Pictures are accurate. Windows and balcony face out the side of the building toward adjacent building. Most of building and surrounding neighborhood remains under construction from hurricane damage.
