Welcome to 21088 St. Peters Drive, a large private three-bedroom, two-bathroom split-level home in a quiet neighborhood in paradise, complete with beautiful tropical landscaping and a heated swimming pool. Beach access is just a short hop across Estero Boulevard. Away from the hustle and bustle of Times Square, affording quiet relaxation for that desired relaxing getaway, is a 7-mile stretch of white, sugary sand beach providing a place for daytime beach activities, and to view the endless variety of evening sunsets. In addition, one of the island's largest supermarkets and an upscale bistro on the bay is just a short car ride away. Trolley service along the boulevard is available to transport you to Times Square, with all of its restaurants, clubs, and night life. This home has its own laundry room, ceiling fans, and complimentary WiFi throughout. The primary bedroom covers about half of the second level, along with the formal living and dining rooms and large open kitchen. The lower level has a mini kitchen, two bedrooms and a bath, as well as a family room, all adjacent to the pool deck. On arrival there is ample off-street parking. Entry is up some steps into the furnished entry foyer, with steps then leading up to the upper level and steps leading down to the lower level. Entry into the upper level is into a central hallway, off of which is the living area, dining area and kitchen in one direction, and the primary bedroom and bath in the other direction. The living room is carpeted and very nicely furnished with matching leather sofa and loveseat, both with power recliners, end tables with lamps and coffee table, all on an area rug. Opposite this is an entertainment center with knickknack shelves and a large flat screen TV. The far end of the living area has two over-stuffed chairs with cocktail table and lamp. This flows into the open dining area and kitchen with tile flooring, with a dining table seating six and a buffet. Sliding glass doors provide access to a balcony overlooking the pool below. The adjacent kitchen is a chef's delight with plenty of granite counter space, a peninsular bar with three barstools on the dining area side, and all items necessary to create full-course meals, or just toast and coffee in the morning. Stainless-steel appliances include a dishwasher, glass-top range with oven, built-in above-range microwave oven and side-by-side refrigerator with freezer drawer. The large primary bedroom is carpeted and has a walk-in closet as well as sitting room with sleeper-sofa, above which is a large wall-mounted flat screen TV. French doors provide access to an outer covered and screened in wrap-around deck. There is a king-size bed with night stands and lamps, a triple dresser with mirror, and two five-drawer chests, one of which is tucked away in the large walk-in closet. The adjacent bathroom off the hallway has a nicely tiled combination jacuzzi tub/shower, tile flooring and a granite-top vanity with dual lavatories and storage space beneath. Entry to the lower level is via steps down from the entrance foyer, with tile flooring throughout. The guest bathroom has a combination tub/shower and a single-piece vanity and lavatory with storage space beneath. The first guest bedroom has a queen-size bed, corner night stands with shelves, two chairs, an armoire and a wall-mounted flat screen TV. The second guest bedroom has a single bed, corner shelving, an armoire and a corner L-shaped desk with chair and shelving. The open plan mini-kitchen, dining area and family room have a wall of sliding glass doors flowing out to the pool and deck area, where a gas grill awaits the barbecue enthusiast. The kitchen is equipped with utensils, refrigerator/freezer, countertop microwave oven and toaster oven, stainless-steel sink and an L-shaped bar with three bar stools, The dining table seats four. The family room is furnished with a leather sleeper-sofa, matching recliner, end table with lamp, coffee table on an area rug and an entertainment corner with wall-mounted flat-screen TV. We spent the month of March here. The location is outstanding - a block to the beach and well away from the Times Square congestion. Publix was half a mile away, an easy walk or bike ride. An issue with the AC was addressed immediately. Comfortable furniture, great pool area, separate living area downstairs worked well for guests. The only downside was the amount of clutter, especially in the kitchen. That said, we would stay again.
