The location of the house was very nice, the house needs some TLC. Lights are too dim in the house, air conditioner didn't really keep the house cool, I live here and my A/C works just fine, I was told that when it's this hot it can't really get below 78, not true, the A/C is conected to wifi and I believe someone was controlling it so we couldn't set it to 74. The pool coping is in need of cleaning, the patio door is broken, the dryer vent doesn't go outside, it just blows into the garage. I don't think it's right that you can't have guests come to visit during the day, as long as they don't spend the night. I had family come down from up North and my family here couldn't visit, they only allow 9 people at one time at the house or they will evict you. They need to list how deep the pool is, it's not anywhere on the pool, the pool drops off quickly and is very deep. I will not stay at this property again.

Amy's place is in a quiet neighborhood, away from the hustle of the main drag. Seemed very safe for the kids to play outside without worry. It is also located within a two minute drive of the grocery store which made grabbing last minute items very convenient. We found everything that we needed in the kitchen, just be sure that you get some of the basics like salt, pepper and other condiments. All of the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for everyone to sleep. The pool was very refreshing and seemed to stay at a comfortable temperature. If you have younger children, you will want to bring flotation devices because the pool is deep. Overall, we had a great time, this rental met most of our needs and was a comfortable place to stay.

We were pleasantly surprised with how clean the place was, which was nice with worries of COVID. The condo did have everything we needed in the kitchen. It was also nice to have all the linens supplied. We were disappointed that the listing says a five minute walk to the beach. It took us 12-15 each time. Also it’s listed to bring your kayaks. We hauled them all the way from Ohio only to realize that there is only a dock no way to really put your boat in unless you want to stand and try to balance to get yourself into the kayak otherwise you have to go to sunrise or at 3 PM when both times tides are up. We also brought wood and other items to use the fire pit which was not there. The beds were very hard and I ended up using 3 pillows to sleep on. But the reason we wouldn’t recommend this condo during the summer months was the air conditioner situation. They ask you to keep it set at 75 which is absurd in Florida during July‘s 100° heat! The days were not bad but the nights were pretty miserable. In the mornings we would shut the blinds trying to keep the heat out which kind of takes away the purpose of the lookout of the bay. We kept the fans going on high at all times. Even with turning it down lower than they requested we only got the ac down to 73or 74 I believe. like another review said I’m pretty sure they have a lock on it. Replace it or don’t rent but asking tenants to be uncomfortable all week is ridiculous. Everything seemed to be on it’s last leg there. I’m assuming the owners don’t stay there often or they would fix all of the minor problems and update things like the brittle outside furniture. We didn’t risk laying on the loungers outside because they were so rusted and we’re afraid they would break through. They do allow you access to the garage which was nice to store items in. The pool was nice and everyone enjoyed that.
