When booking a Florida rental for a stay of at least two weeks, you want a place that has it all: a convenient location, comfortable and attractive furnishings, and amenities such as a swimming pool, free WiFi, and a private washer and dryer. Vista Hermosa 189 has all of that, and more.

Because Vista Hermosa 189 is a bungalow, you won’t have to worry about noisy neighbors above you or right next door—a definite advantage to staying in a condo building or a hotel. The home’s spacious living area includes a wall of windows looking out onto the impeccably maintained green, which offers plenty of space for the kids to run around. Should the sun get too intense—this is Florida, after all! —you can draw the shades, and the ceiling fans and central air-conditioning will keep you cool. The living area’s two couches and pair of leather bucket chairs provide plenty of seating for the whole gang. Whether you’re watching a movie on the HDTV with cable or playing Pictionary, you can all relax together after your day at the beach or exploring Sarasota.

The living area includes a desk, handy if you have to catch up on work during your stay. There’s a dining table too, which easily seats six. Just off the dining area is Vista Hermosa 189’s well-equipped kitchen. Appliances, cookware, tableware, counter space, elbow room: It’s all right here. The only things you need to supply are food and an appetite. If you prefer dining outdoors, take advantage of the complex’s picnic area, where you can barbecue on a gas grill.

Vista Hermosa 189 has two bedrooms, each of which includes a flat-screen TV and a ceiling fan whose gentle breeze is certain to lull you to sleep. The primary suite boasts a king-size bed and a private bathroom. Furnished with a pair of double beds, the second bedroom can sleep as many as four people. The kids will love making this room their private clubhouse. There’s a second full bathroom as well. When you arrive, you’ll find the beds beautifully made up, plenty of clean towels in the bathrooms, and extra bedding at the ready—no need for you to bring linens from home.

The Vista Hermosa pool is heated to a blissful 86 degrees in winter, enabling you to enjoy a swim outdoors pretty much year-round. Afterward you can laze on a poolside chaise or challenge the kids to a game of shuffleboard. And let’s not forget the glorious Siesta Key beach along the Gulf of Mexico; you can walk there in less than 10 minutes! The beach’s sparkling quartz sand stays cool underfoot no matter how sultry the temperatures, so bring your beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, and sunscreen and make a day of it. The area of beach closest to Vista Hermosa is the Point of Rocks, famed for its fishing and snorkeling; you’re apt to see coral formations, fish, crabs, and the occasional octopus. When you’re not swimming, snorkeling, paddleboarding, canoeing, or kayaking in the gulf, you can search for seashells, play beach volleyball, or scan the surf for frolicking dolphins. At least once during your stay, be on the beach for sunset; the sight of the sky’s fiery colors reflected in the sparkling waters is one you’ll long remember.

If for some reason you tire of the beach (hard to imagine, we know), you can drive over the bay and be in Sarasota in just a few minutes. While there, check out the Ringling art and circus museums and Ca’ d’Zan, the extravagant one-time winter home of John and Mabel Ringling. Other attractions within a half-hour drive include Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium, the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, and Myakka River State Park.

Vista Hermosa 189 makes an ideal home away from home. Book your stay today and get ready to experience the joys of Gulf Coast living.

We enjoyed the house, the area and the location, since it was calm, clean and with waking distance to Crescent Beach and to restaurants and supermarkets in the area. The beach equipment could need an uppdate, both the beach chair and the umbrella were broken and the trolley needs a retirement.

We stayed here for a month while our house was being remodeled. It was an absolute dream. I wish we could stay and not go back to our house! It was a short walk to the beach. Short walk to restaurants and a hop on the trolley down to the village. Place was well-stocked and very clean and comfortable. Spacious living area. Big closets with hangers. Pool was fun after a day at the beach. Kids played in the yard. Staff very responsive to little issues that arose and fixed all problems quickly! Very neat and tidy and safe community. Will definitely come back.
