Welcome to Sand Caper 207, a resort-style condo that has two bedrooms and two baths with very generous square footage. There is a 2-week minimum stay. Tucked away on the second floor your privacy will be enhanced. There is an atrium open to the sky seven stories up with tropical foliage in the center of the building, lending to an island atmosphere without even leaving the resort. The location is at the quiet southern end of Estero Island. Directly across the boulevard is a CVS pharmacy and Santini Marina Plaza, with many shops and restaurants. The island's major supermarket, Publix, is just a 2-mile drive away. There is also quick exit via the south bridge to nearby Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero and RSW International Airport. The beach at this portion of the island is expansive, connecting its guests to seven miles of white sugar sand beach. Trolley service is available from directly in front of Santini Plaza to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach, where there is restaurants, and boutiques. The trolley can also take you south to the secluded Lover's Key park. Amenities at Sand Caper include a heated pool (please note the pool is not currently functioning) There are dedicated areas for gas BBQ grills, tables and chairs, as well as a place to rinse the sand off your shoes and feet before re-entering the building. Condo amenities include air conditioning, all linens and towels provided, private laundry and complimentary WiFi.

Entry at ground level is through a secure lobby where an elevator takes you to #207. Walk into a foyer and into the open-plan kitchen, dining and living areas. The kitchen has with plenty of cabinets and granite counterspace with tile backsplash, a European style stainless steel sink with disposal, and well-stocked cabinets to make it easier to prepare full-course meals should that be on your list. Just bring the food! There is a refrigerator/freezer with icemaker, 5-burner glasstop range with self-cleaning oven, built-in above range microwave, and dishwasher. There is a pass through to dining area where there is a table seating six. This flows into the living area with matching sofa and loveseat with end tables and lamps, a glass-top coffee table, an overstuffed chair and credenza with a large flat screen TV. Expansive sliding glass doors open to the screened-in and furnished balcony with its view of the gulf from the second floor. Furnishings on the balcony include a round patio table and four chairs. The view from the balcony looks out over lush tropical grounds and the Gulf of Mexico and lagoon as described above.

Post-hurricane Ian damage cleanup continues in the Fort Myers Beach area and at the Condo building. Please expect ongoing construction and construction noise within and around this complex, including the parking areas. At this time some amenities may not be available for use. Currently the pool is not open. This unit has been carefully inspected and renovated prior to re-opening. We have made every effort to maintain a safe and comfortable setting for our guests.

The primary bedroom has a large walk-in closet, a king-size bed, night stands and lamps, a corner recliner, and a triple dresser above which is a wall-mounted flat screen TV. Sliding glass doors provide private access out to the balcony. The en suite bathroom has a single-piece vanity with lavatory, wall mirror and storage space beneath, commode and walk-in shower with glass doors. The guest bedroom has ample closet space, a king bed, night stand and lamp, corner bamboo chair with cushions and double dresser with mirror and flat screen TV. The adjacent guest bathroom has a single-piece vanity with lavatory, wall mirror and storage space beneath, commode and a combination tub/shower with sliding glass doors.

Sand Caper 207 is definitely your home away from home. They have everything you will need from beach chairs, umbrella, wagon to carry your things to the beach. It’s a lovely condo, very comfortable.
