The home is in a prime location. The hustle and bustle of Times Square, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach, with its miles of white, sugary sand beaches, a pier, numerous clubs, restaurants, and boutiques is a short walk or bike ride away.
Water activities abound and include parasailing, jet ski rentals, and fishing charters to name a few. Trolleys run up and down the island, making it convenient to access activities and attractions all the while leaving your car at the house.
Sanibel Island, world famous for its seashells, and Fort Myers, with its Downtown River District and historic winter homes of Thomas Edison, Henry Ford and Harvey Firestone lie not far to the north, while Lovers Key State Park, Bonita Springs and Naples are to the south. Your vacation home features a variety of amenities, including a canal-front heated swimming pool with furnished open pool deck area, and gas grill. There are ceiling fans and Wi-Fi throughout, and all linens and towels are provided.
Upon arrival there is open off-street parking. Entry is up the stairs on the left rear side of the home into a large sunroom and open plan living, dining area and kitchen. There is tile flooring throughout. The kitchen has plenty of counter space and a bar with three bar chairs on the living room side. There is also a pass-thru window into the sunroom area. All the necessary items are available to whip up a full course meal, or simply toast and coffee in the morning. Just bring the food! Appliances are stainless-steel and include a dishwasher, glass-top range with oven, under-counter microwave and refrigerator/freezer.
The kitchen flows into the living room and is comfortably furnished, even including a sleeper-sofa and a wall-mounted large flat-screen TV. Through sliding glass doors, the living room flows into the sunroom that also has a dining table seating six, an overstuffed chair with ottoman, a day bed and a desk. The sunroom has expansive sliding glass doors out to a long balcony overlooking the pool deck and canal.
The primary bedroom has a king-size bed with in-room TV and full en suite bath. The bathroom is newly remodeled and has a combination tub/shower. The upper-level guest bedroom has two queen-size beds and a flat-screen TV. The guest bathroom is newly remodeled and has a walk-in shower.
Entry to the lower level is on the back side of the home through a private entrance into a game room with an arcade-sized console featuring Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Galaga and more games. There is also a cornhole game that can be set up out by the pool.
The game room flows into the great room with an open concept kitchen that has been completely remodeled with custom wood cabinets and stainless-steel appliances. Everything you need to prepare meals is included in the kitchen. The kitchen then flows into a newly furnished formal dining area and living room.
The living room has a queen-size sleeper-sofa and a large flat-screen TV. This room overlooks the pool and canal. Two newly furnished bedrooms are off the kitchen and living room area. The first bedroom has a queen-size bed. The second bedroom has a king-size bed. Each bedroom has its own TV, dresser, and plenty of closet space.
A full bathroom is located off the great room. The primary lower-level bedroom has a queen-size bed, en suite full bathroom, along with a private sitting area with sleeper-sofa and mini refrigerator/freezer and microwave oven. We rented this home for a one week period for a total of 10 people. Upper unit is gorgeous, well stocked with necessary cooking utensils. All appliances were clean and in working order. Lower unit was a little smaller than appeared in pictures, and had a faint musty odor. The unit was well stocked, and all appliances in working order. Pool and deck were gorgeous, and where we spent a majority of the daylight hours. Gas and charcoal grills were in working order. Location is excellent, easy walking distance to beach, time square, etc.

We rented the entire house for our family of 13 and it was wonderful. The location of the house is amazing and the space was great. We all fit very comfortably. The private pool and dock were amazing. The only thing I would say is if you do not rent the entire house it may be weird as you would all be sharing the pool together. Would absolutely go back!
