Welcome to Island Winds 504, a two-bedroom, two-bath gulf-front condo with generous square footage. The resort is located at the quiet southern end of Estero Island and is within walking distance of a myriad of amenities that include a public marina, movie theatre and restaurants. There is also quick exit via the south bridge to nearby Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero and SWFL International Airport. Trolley service is available to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach, where there is an extended fishing pier and too numerous to count clubs, restaurants, and boutiques. Amenities at Island Winds include a resort-style heated pool and spa located between its two towers. The island's major supermarket, Publix, is just a 2-mile drive away. Condo amenities include central air conditioning, ceiling fans, complimentary WiFi, cable TV, all linens and towels and a private laundry area. Entry at ground level is through a secure lobby. There are luggage carts available there to simplify your arrival. Take the elevator to the fifth floor and walk into an entry hallway into the open-plan kitchen, dining and living areas. There is tile flooring in the kitchen, dining area and bathrooms, otherwise with carpeting in the bedrooms and living area. The kitchen is a chef's delight with granite countertops and all the items necessary to prepare full-course meals if desired. Appliances include a dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, glass-top range with oven and built-in above-range microwave oven. There is a peninsular bar with two bar stools in the kitchen. The adjacent dining area has a table seating six. The living room is spacious and a large entertainment center has a flat screen TV. A cluster of comfortable chairs arranged in a circle will stimulate great conversation among friends. Off to the side is a large sleeper-sofa and loveseat. The living room is infused with natural light from the wall of sliding glass doors and side windows. Open the sliding glass doors and let the Gulf breeze flow through the condo. Step out onto the lanai where you are sure to spend endless hours watching the daily happenings of beach life below. Watch nightly sunsets from the privacy of your lanai, and the great view of the pool down below. The primary bedroom has a king-size bed and dresser with flat screen TV. Sliding glass doors provide access to the lanai. The en suite bathroom is spacious with a large walk-in shower, commode and vanity with dual lavatories and storage space beneath, The guest bedroom has two single beds, night stand and lamp, in-room TV and sliding glass door access to a lanai. The guest bathroom has a combination tub/shower, commode and vanity with lavatory and storage space beneath. If you haven't been to the Island Winds complex before you are in for a treat. Island Winds offers a community room, featuring a full kitchen, sitting and dining area, as well as a pool table, library and fitness center. Outside you'll encounter the beautiful beachside heated pool and hot tub. Tennis courts can be found across the street overlooking one of the neighboring canals. Covered beachside grills await, and a tiki hut on the beach allows you to sit out and enjoy all that beach life has to offer.
