Sliding glass doors separate the living area from the balcony so that even when you’re indoors you can relish the spectacular view of the gulf. Of course, once you’re out on the balcony, the vista is even more stunning. The 2nd bathroom has both a tub and a shower, and with one bathroom for each bedroom, mornings will be much less hectic. Plenty of fresh towels will be waiting for you, as well as bedding, blankets, and pillows--no need to bring your own.
Of course, you don’t come to Florida to spend all your time indoors, even in a condo as lovely as Gateway Villa 796. Be sure to pack your swimsuit, as the complex has its own oversized heated pool. It also has an outdoor dining area, complete with grills so that you can barbecue your catch of the day (or steaks from the supermarket!).
Just beyond the condo grounds is the beach itself. We love Gateway Villa, great location and beach is fabulous. We have rented for several years now and always have a great time. Our unit 796 needs a little updating will look into a different unit next year if we vacation in Fort Myers beach

Loved the location and view from the screened balcony! When we checked in everything appeared clean, tidy and in order; however, we found a dutch oven in the cupboard with solidified grease in the bottom and on the sides and some large plates on the bottom of our stack that were still wet and had some food particles on them. Not very pleasant. We also found there was one Xfinity remote missing (we made due with the other). The kitchen could be a bit better equipped (more silverware and regular size glasses for juice, etc) and maybe an update to the toaster? Other than that, our stay was very pleasant. I already miss having my morning coffee on the balcony with the nice breeze and smell of the salty air!!

Overall, we were very happy with this place. Great location and balcony, well stocked and very functional. The coach could be replaced but it is functional. The unit has everything you need in a quiet gated complex on the desirable north end.
