Welcome to 5570 Palmetto Street, a private three-bedroom, three-bath pet-friendly home nestled in a private mid-island neighborhood and boasting a fenced in backyard paradise with heated swimming pool, tiki bar and spill-over spa, as well as very close proximity to the beach. Its location is mid-way down the beautiful Estero Island, your tropical paradise that still maintains its small island charm, and yet away from the hustle and bustle of Times Square. Beach access is just a hop across Estero Boulevard. This portion of the beach offers a 7-mile stretch of white, sugar sand beach providing a place for daytime beach activities, and to view the endless variety of evening sunsets. One of the island's largest supermarkets and an upscale bistro on the bay are just a short car ride away. Trolley service along the boulevard is available to transport you to Times Square, with all of its restaurants, clubs, and night life. Amenities include the heated pool with spill-over spa, tiki bar, ceiling fans throughout, all linens and towels, complimentary WiFi and private laundry facilities. Upon arrival there is plenty of off-street parking with two covered spaces beneath this stilt home. Entry is via stairs to an upper deck and then into a hallway that leads to the open plan living room, dining area, family room and kitchen. There is tile flooring throughout. The kitchen has plenty of cabinets and hard-surface countertops, and everything necessary to create full course meals is provided. Appliances include a dishwasher, glass-top range and oven, built-in above-range microwave and side-by-side refrigerator freezer with water and ice dispenser in the freezer door. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area with a table seating six, and sliding glass doors leading out to an open and furnished deck with gas BBQ grill overlooking the back yard and pool area. The dining area flows into the living area, furnished with a sleeper-sofa with end tables, matching loveseat, coffee table on an area rug, another loveseat and opposite the seating area is a credenza above which is a wall-mounted large flat screen TV. The living area then flows into a guest section with a separate sitting room with a sofa and wall-mounted flat screen TV, then continues on into a full laundry room with washer, dryer and laundry sink with counter space. Sliding glass doors from here lead out to an open deck with table seating four, and stairs leading down into the backyard and pool area. Adjacent to this is a guest bedroom with queen-size bed, night stand and lamp and wall-mounted flat screen TV. The en suite bath has a single-piece vanity with lavatory and storage space beneath, commode and walk-in shower. The primary bedroom has a king-size bed, night stands and lamps and a wall-mounted flat screen TV. An en suite bathroom has a single-piece vanity with lavatory and storage space beneath, commode and a tiled walk-in shower with sliding glass doors. Another guest bedroom has a king-size bed, night stands and lamps, chest of drawers and a wall-mounted flat screen TV. The en suite bath is also accessible from the hallway and has a tiled walk-in shower, commode and vanity with lavatory and storage space beneath. Our stay at 5570 Palmetto St. was nothing short of incredible! The house was perfect for our needs - the spacious rooms, beautiful yard, and awesome pool and hot tub were everything we hoped for! This was our first vacation as a blended family with adult children and despite being a family for many years, it gave everyone a chance to bond and build a stronger relationship in a setting that provided relaxation and comfort for everyone! Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us and allowing us the opportunity to create some amazing memories! VTrips and Distinctive Beach Rentals did a wonderful job taking care of us - despite some "bumps\"" that were out of their control. I will admit I was skeptical having never booked through a company like this
