Welcome to Bay Village 222, a two-bedroom, two-bath water-front condo situated closer to the southern end of Estero Island. Bay Village Club overlooks the water toward Estero Bay and is a very short walk to the seven miles of sugar white sand of the Gulf of Mexico. A public marina, dinner movie theatre, and a myriad of restaurants and shops are nearby. The island's major supermarket, Publix, is just a short drive away. There is also quick exit via the south bridge to nearby Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero and SWFL International Airport. Trolley service is available to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach, where there is an extended fishing pier and too numerous to count clubs, restaurants, and boutiques. Resort amenities include a large heated pool and cabana, sauna, outdoor shower, shuffleboard courts, gas grills, fishing docks, a tennis/pickleball court and a small library. Condo amenities include complimentary WiFi, cable TV, all towels and linens, private laundry area, central air conditioning and ceiling fans. Upon arrival there is ample parking. Entry is via stairs or elevator to the third level then into the open plan kitchen, living and dining areas. There is tile flooring throughout. The newly remodeled kitchen is a chef's delight, with all the items necessary to prepare full course meals if so desired. Just bring food! There is plenty of cabinet space and granite countertops with backsplash and an elevated pass-through bar into the living area with three bar stools on the living area side. Appliances are all stainless-steel and include a glass-top range and oven, built-in above-range microwave oven, dishwasher and refrigerator/freezer. The adjacent living area is nicely furnished with a leather sleeper-sofa, end tables and lamps, coffee table, matching loveseat and comfortable recliner. Opposite the seating area is a credenza with wall-mounted large flat screen TV. This flows into the dining area with a table seating six. Expansive sliding glass doors then provide access to the furnished and screened in lanai overlooking the water. The lanai also has glass sliders to the outside. The primary bedroom with en suite bath has a king-size bed, night stands and lamps, corner chair and two dressers, one of which has a flat screen TV. Sliding glass doors provide private access out to the lanai. The bathroom has a granite vanity and lavatory with storage space beneath, commode and a nicely tiled walk-in shower. The guest bedroom has a queen-size bed, night stand and lamp. dresser and ample closet space. A Jack and Jill bathroom with granite vanity and lavatory with storage space beneath, commode and a combination tub/shower provides the en suite option as well as access in the adjacent hallway. We were able to play tennis each morning; jump in the pool; and spend some time on the beach in the afternoon around sunset! Only 1km walk to the beach. Amazing spot to experience New Year’s Eve fireworks!

My wife and I just enjoyed one of the best vacations we have ever had. The condominium was beautiful with the amenities of the pool, pickle ball court and ocean just a few minute walk away. In addition, the folks we met and got to know in our three week stay could not have been nicer. We liked it so much we're thinking about going back next year.
