Sand Caper 202 is a two bedroom / two bathroom, air conditioned condo that sleeps four comfortably, and up to six when the living room sofa sleeper is put to use. Walk in the front door of the newly refurbished unit and into a comfortable open living space, outfitted with two new rocking/swivel easy chairs, newer couch, and a large flat screen HD TV with a DVD player. There is also free internet service in Sand Caper 202, so you can stay connected to all your favorites.
Step through the sliding glass door onto the screened-in balcony, a favorite place to hang out, relax and have meals and cocktails in the warm salt air. The sleek new balcony furniture is really comfortable.
There is a dining room table just outside the kitchen pass-through opening, with four chairs and a couple of stools at the pass through bar.
The remodeled open kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to prepare simple snacks or full dinners. All appliances including dishwasher, microwave, and icemaker are all there as well as dishes, cookware, and utensils. You will appreciate the new cabinets, countertops, tile floor and the updated lighting fixtures.
The large primary bedroom includes a new king size memory foam mattress for some great sleeping. There is also another flat screen TV, a huge walk-in closet and a sliding glass door that opens to the balcony in case you want to step out and view the stars. The newly refurbished primary bathroom includes a large walk–in shower and large vanity with room to store all of your toiletries.
The second bedroom is outfitted with two twin beds for the kids or a second couple, and the updated second bathroom has a tub/shower combination.
The Sand Caper 202 also has a new washer/dryer laundry unit for your convenience. Just throw in a load of wash and head for the beach!
The Sand Caper property includes a beautifully refurbished large heated swimming pool on the east side that catches a lot of morning and midday sun. There are ample chaise lounges, chairs, and tables with umbrellas if you prefer to stay out of the sun.
In Sand Caper 202, you will appreciate how quickly you can get from your condo to the beach. Skip the elevator if you’re able. One of your biggest decisions of the day may be whether to head north or south on the beach for a daily beachcombing excursion.
The Sand Caper complex is conveniently located. Across the street is where the CVS Drugstore and the Santini Mall with all of its shops and restaurants. A few steps to the south is a 7eleven for all your quick needs, and right next door, to the north in the Wyndham Garden Hotel, is Pinchers, a fun beachfront restaurant, and bar.
Fort Myers Beach has so much to offer. Just jump on the trolley and head up to Times Square, by the pier for more shopping, restaurants, and bar for your nightlife. Stop on the way for groceries, tennis, or a visit to the library. Or, take it south, across San Carlos Pass, and you are at Lovers Key State Park, for more beachcombing and nature exploration. Rent a bike, scooter, kayak or boat, all nearby, to explore more.

This was the second year we have stayed in this unit. The reservation process to set up the weeks in the unit is fast and easy. We had our next yearâ„¢s reservation before we checked out. The maintenance team was very responsive and resolved an issue with the washer water supply lines within 24 hours of our request for service. This condo is very comfortable and pleasant. That is why we will be returning next year. This is a convenient second floor unit, easy stairs or a short wait for elevators. The covered parking (one car per condo) is convenient and the building has carts to help move belongings and groceries in and out of the car. The condo has plenty of room for two couples, or a family of four. From the second floor screened in porch, the Gulf beach is just visible between the bird sanctuary nature area and the neighboring hotel parking lot. The condo is homey and well maintained. The two bedrooms have comfortable beds and good closet and storage space. The full size stacked washer and dryer reduces the numbers of clothes needed in packing. The kitchen is set up with plenty of dishes/cookware and flatware to enable home-style meals frequently during an extended stay. The living room sofa-bed and chairs are adequate for a condo at the beach. We like the location of this condo for many reasons: it is on the quiet end of Estero Island; across the street from CVS and Santini Plaza (shopping and restaurants); A 200 yard walk on beautiful white sand to get to the Gulf beach; 15 minutes away from beautiful Lovers Key State Park.
