Gateway Villas 399 is a two-bedroom, two-bath third floor gulf-front condo located in this gated beachfront resort. It's location at the quieter North end of Estero Island provides a 180-degree view of the Gulf of Mexico, and is an easy 10-12 minute walk to Times Square and the numerous boutiques, restaurants and night life afforded at this end of the island. A beach trolley service is available that runs the entire length of the island, all the way to Lovers Key State Park. Its close proximity to the Sky Bridge offers easier ingress and egress, making Sanibel Island, the downtown Fort Myers River District, Edison Winter Home and Southwest Florida Regional Airport all within a 20-40 minute drive. A short drive to mid-island takes you to the Publix supermarket and upscale Bistro on the Bay restaurant, and a little further south is the Santini Marina Plaza with many other restaurants and shops. Just off the south end of the island is Lovers Key State Park, and further south lies Bonita Beach and Naples. An added feature to the north end is that Bowditch Point Regional Park is literally just a short walk away and is a beach to bay nature preserve with walking trails and bike rentals. Resort amenities include an over-sized heated beachfront swimming pool with lounging area and a shaded outdoor dining area with gas BBQ grills. Your arrival and settling in will be a breeze with the use of bellman's trolley and carts available on the ground floor level. Ample parking is also available. The primary bedroom with en suite bath has a king-size bed, night stands and lamps, chest of drawers, corner chair, three-drawer desk with chair, double dresser and a wall-mounted large flat screen TV. Sliding glass doors open to the furnished private balcony complete with views of the beach and Gulf of Mexico. The en suite bathroom has a nicely tiled walk-in shower with glass doors, commode and granite-top vanity with lavatory and storage space beneath. The guest bedroom has a queen-size bed, night stands and lamps and a double dresser.
