Though numerous restaurants are within walking distance (those of Santini Marina Plaza are less than 5 minutes away), once you see Sandarac B304’s kitchen you’ll want to cook at least a few meals yourself. With its gleaming white counters and wealth of appliances, cookware, and tableware, the kitchen makes cooking a pleasure, not a chore.
If you prefer to dine amid the sunshine and the salt-kissed breeze, bring your meal out to Sandarac B304’s screened-in balcony. Furnished with a table for 4, it looks right out onto the beach and the gulf. At least once during your stay try to time dinner to coincide with the sunset: The fiery colors make it seem as if the gulf is aflame! Or you can head to the complex’s picnic area, which includes a grill. Whether it’s bluefish you reeled in yourself or burgers from a nearby store, it’ll taste even better when barbecued outdoors.
Sandarac B304’s primary bedroom has a queen-size bed; the 2nd bedroom features a pair of twin beds. The serene color palette, the rhythmic rolling of the surf upon the sand, and the gentle breeze of the ceiling fans are certain to lull you to sleep. Along with 2 bedrooms, the condo has 2 full bathrooms. Having a bathroom for each bedroom is so convenient: You don’t have to queue up and wait your turn to take a shower! And speaking of convenient, the unit has its own washer and dryer too. No need to waste precious vacation time doing laundry when you can be in the pool.
That’s right: The Sandarac complex has a heated beachfront pool. After your swim, you can laze on one of the poolside patio’s numerous chaises as the leaves of the surrounding palm trees rustle in the breeze. Or you can stroll right to the beach via the private walkway. This just might be the best part of staying here: the ability to walk from your condo to the beach in just a minute. You’ll be able to come and go as you please, rather than having to load up the car with a day’s worth of gear, battle traffic, and hunt for a parking space before you can stretch out your blanket on the sand.
You could easily—and happily—while away your entire stay at the beach, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, parasailing, racing jet skis, collecting shells, watching dolphins and manatees weave in and out among the boats. But there’s, even more, to see and do nearby. Only 2 miles away, Lovers Key State Park has biking and hiking trails, a boat ramp, and kayak tours. On the north end of the island are the eateries, nightspots, shops, and street performers of Times Square. If you don’t want to drive, hop on the trolley that runs the length of Estero Island; it stops just outside the Sandarac.

We have stayed there for three years. We enjoyed the sunsets and the Gulf view from the balcony. The unit is large and has a good flow pattern. The unit is fully furnished with modern appliances and all the conveniences. It is located on the widest part of the beach. It\'s a great location for walking the beach, shell collecting, bird watching and within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We have enjoyed the upgrades made each year, especially the bathrooms. The only concern is that the carpet is light colored and we have had to have it cleaned each year before we arrive.
