We have been coming to Lovers Key Resort for the last 7 years. Out of the 7 visits at LKR we have stayed in 308, 5 of those times. Each visit we buy something new whether it\'s beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas, etc. We leave these things for others to use and then we can use them again on our next visit. Kind of like paying it forward. This year we found out that beach towels are no longer provided. You may think no big deal but with luggage weight restrictions, who packs a beach towel? So I called Distinctive Beach rental and the gal said they are no longer being supplied. I said asked why because in our agreement it says beach towels are included. She responded that it was a new change, no apology for the inconvenience just silence. So off we went to find beach towels and $40 later. We left these towels for others to use, once again paying it forward because it\'s the right thing to do. (and it would put us over the weight limit) We love this resort mainly for the location and spectacular views and I can\'t forget Flippers on the Bay restaurant. Chef Juan is one of the best in the area. The condo itself needs updating. If you plan on bringing your laptop to keep up on work emails etc, good luck. The internet is intermittent at best. Maybe you\'re thinking who needs internet, I\'m on vacation? Trust me, you\'ll be frustrated when you\'re trying to google restaurants and keep getting kicked out literally every 2 mins. The toilet runs a lot and shower pressure is low. The bed is comfortable and the condo itself is clean and well stocked with dishes and cooking essentials. We still enjoy coming to LKR and will most likely visit again. We are just hoping these things will be taken care of by our next visit.
