Welcome to 217 Fairweather #2. This unique adobe style private home consists of two separate units that have shared laundry facilities, and is conveniently located on the north end of Fort Myers Beach in a quiet residential neighborhood. It has 1 bedroom and 1 bath. You will love the location of this home and the convenience of being able to walk to everything during your stay. This home is located a short 3-4 minute walk down the street from The Shamrock Irish Pub on Estero Boulevard, and the corner store and a trolley stop. Just a short walk across the boulevard will have your toes running through the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico and its 7 miles of sugar white sand beach. You can walk or hop on the trolley to Times Square to fish off the pier, dine at the restaurants, and shop at one of the many beach shops. Don't forget to get an evening treat of ice cream at Royal Scoop, morning breakfast and coffee at Heavenly Biscuit, and lunch at the Tuckaway Cafe. Enter this vacation home through a gate on the left side, along a fence and onto a courtyard area with round glass-top table with four chairs, as well as the washer and dryer. There is off street parking. Upon entering this unit you will find yourself in the kitchen. There is tile flooring throughout. The kitchen has tile countertops and backsplash, and has a tiled peninsular bar with two barstools on the dining area side. All the necessary items are available to whip up a full course meal, or just coffee in the morning. Appliances include a 4-burner glasstop range with self-cleaning oven, a built-in above-range microwave oven, dishwasher, and refrigerator freezer. There is a rectangular stainless steel sink. Leaving the kitchen you enter into the dining area on the right and the living area on the left. There is a ceiling fan in the living room for added comfort, as well as two windows, one of which opens to the back of the property, and the other one opening onto the entrance patio. The living room is furnished with a queen-size sleeper sofa with end tables and floor lamp. There is also a recliner with a cocktail table and lamp, and a corner decorative fireplace with flat screen TV on top. Opposite the living area is the dining area with a drop leaf dining table seating two. To the right of the dining table is the bathroom, with a combination tub/shower, commode, and single-piece vanity with lavatory with storage space beneath, and a wall mirror. Back out into the dining and living area and to the right, just before the living area, is the bedroom, which is furnished with a queen-size bed with brass headboard, night stands and lamps, as well as 3-drawer wicker chest with flat screen TV. This room has a ceiling fan, as well as ample closet space. Up for an adventure while on vacation? Be close to all the action of Times Square here. Charter boats, jet-skis, and parasailing rentals are within walking distance. Take pleasure in a day trip on the Key West Ferry. Music aficionados can catch up-and-coming local artists at one of the many beach taverns, or actually participate in various karaoke sessions offered locally. Don't want to drive? Hop the Beach Trolley at the stop on the corner of Estero Blvd. and you can explore a wide variety of retail shops, local tourism sites and eateries that Estero Island has to offer. The trolley runs regularly between Fort Myers Beach and Bonita Springs.
