Seaside Bungalow

Where you'll be
Description
When you open Seaside Bungalow’s windows you’ll be able to feel the salt-tinged ocean breeze and hear the sandpipers. Even better, you’ll be able to stroll back and forth between the house and the beach multiple times a day. Get up early to catch the sunrise over the Atlantic, then return home and back to bed; trot down a few hours later to surf or gather shells, then watch for dolphins and whales while lazing on the sand; head back again at night for a moonlit stroll...Although its prime location is reason enough to stay at Seaside Bungalow, the house has plenty of other attributes going for it. For starters, recent upgrades include new windows, plantation shutters and ceiling fans throughout, plus a fully renovated kitchen. Seaside Bungalow can sleep up to six people in utter comfort.
The primary bedroom is especially restful, with a king-size bed you’ll relish sprawling across, an ensuite bathroom and direct access to a private deck, ideal for your warm morning coffee or late afternoon refreshing cocktails. Enjoy your own private smart TV for when you watch to catch up on your late night shows. The other two bedrooms—one with a queen-size bed, the other with two twins—each have their own smart HDTV's as well. These bedrooms share the second full bathroom, and for added convenience, there’s a half-bath as well.
Mornings will be much less hectic! With well-cushioned seating, neutral decor, and a ceiling fan to complement the central air conditioning, the living room is a cool, calm oasis—exactly what you want after an active day in the Florida sun. There’s plenty of room for the kids to spread out on the floor with their games and toys while you kick back on an armchair with a book or your tablet—Seaside Bungalow has free WiFi, so you can stay caught up with email and post pictures of your adventures on Social Sites! There’s also more than enough room for everyone to gather together to watch a movie on the smart HDTV. So many restaurants are nearby, you could easily head to a different one every night. But sometimes it’s easier and more relaxing to eat in. Luckily you can walk from Seaside Bungalow to the closest supermarket in less than five minutes via a scenic boardwalk through the local ecosystem, with wildlife highlights marked along the way! The kitchen has all the appliances, cookware, and tableware you’ll need, whether you’re preparing a multi-course holiday feast for guests or simply mixing a breakfast smoothie in the blender. There’s also a charcoal grill, perfect for cooking up your catch of the day or hot dogs and burgers.
The dining room seats up to six people; after you clear, the plates (and the dishwasher will make cleanup a snap), bring out the Monopoly board or the Uno deck and let your family dinner segue into the family game night. You could happily split your entire vacation between the beach and the house, but then you’d be missing out on the many other nearby attractions. For instance, Seaside Bungalow is only a five-minute drive to historic St. Augustine, the oldest city in the country, with a centuries-old fort, colonial-era streets, and thoroughly modern restaurants, entertainment, and hot spots. Nearly as close as Anastasia State Park, where you can hike, bike, canoe, kayak, and observe manatees, dolphins, sea turtles, crabs, and more wildlife.
The Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park, the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park, golf, shopping, boating, and more are also nearby. Even the Orlando theme parks are just a day trip away. It’s tough to imagine anyone who wouldn’t have a fabulous time staying at Seaside Bungalow. That’s why you should reserve your stay today before someone else beats you to it!

Our stay was OK. We love Vilano beach. The location of the house was great with a 30 second walk to the beach, the interior of the home is still in need of some updates. The master shower, is incredibly small, and the bathtub did not have a stopper. The TVs and all the bedrooms were computer monitors around 20 inches and cable did not work and all the bedrooms. more towels and linens for change outs would’ve been a nice upgrade to keep laundry from being done daily! The balcony access from the master bedroom suite did not feel safe. It was super shaky and is in need of repair or replacement. .

Super location, close to everything on vilano and downtown Saint Augustine. Walk to beach was easy and quick as well! House was spacious and decorated well. The beds did leave a ton to be desired comfort wise but that was the only complaint!

+ The location, liked that the house was on a cul-de-sac. It was very clean and plenty of towels. I liked that we didn't have to keep track of keys because the door unlocks with a code. - There is not enough seating in the living room for 6 people. The queen bed was not comfortable and was very squeaky. Kitchen could use a pair of scissors. The garage door opener wasn't working and the door is VERY HEAVY to open and close. The downstairs toilet runs. And of course, it was disappointing that the boardwalk to the beach had not been repaired from the hurricane months ago. There needs to be a bigger trash bin outside or more than one.

+ 200ft from the beach, grocery store, gas station very close, very private and guiet. - I was bombarded with emails saying similar but different things. It would be more beneficial if there was a more coherent check in / what to do or not do, and conformation check out email.
