Both of Fairway Dream's bedrooms are on the second floor. The primary bedroom has a sumptuous king-size bed; the second bedroom has a pair of twin beds. Each bedroom includes a flat-screen TV, and a ceiling fan to help lull you to sleep. (Of course, there’s central air-conditioning as well; this is Florida, after all!) Just as important, there is a full-size bathroom for each bedroom. You can indulge in a leisurely bath or shower without a line forming on the other side of the door. For added convenience, there’s a powder room on the main floor and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. When you arrive at Fairway Dream at Tifton Way 87, you’ll find the beds already made up and plenty of clean towels in both bathrooms, so you can make a shower or a nap your first order of business. And while the bedrooms offer plenty of storage, you can pack just a carry-on bag if you like, as the unit has its own washer and dryer. Be sure to bring swimsuits and sunscreen, though. For one thing, you’ll have free access to the Sawgrass community swimming pool, just a 5-minute drive away. When you’re not swimming, you can lounge on the poolside patio, with your choice of sun or shade. Or you can stroll to the pink-tinged coquina beach and the sparkling Atlantic Ocean. You might spy dolphins frolicking in the surf as you swim, paddleboard, kayak, or search for shells and shark’s teeth. Also close by are TPC Sawgrass, home of the PGA Players Championship every May, and Bird Island Park, where you’re sure to see and hear a variety of birds while the kids whoop it up in the playground. And historic St. Augustine, the nation’s oldest city, is less than 40 minutes away.
